About Me
Kathleen Fitzhenry
A Karoo girl born and bred
I grew up on a farm near Aberdeen. A hostel kid at Union High School, Graaff-Reinet from Sub A to Matric.
After exploring some of the wide world and doing long stints in corporate life, returning home to semi-retirement in Graaff-Reinet was the SANE thing to do.
I LOVE my life here!
My ONLY concern is the rising cost of everything, especially food!!
So I’ve been on the look-out for affordable, yet nutritious and tasty meals that are convenient and quick to prepare. That’s what I found in Food Sock, thanks to my 84-year old neighbour introducing it to me.
Including one Food Sock meal a day into my menu, I have nutritious, tasty and affordable meals for less than R400 per month! (A family of 4 could do it for less than R1600 per month)
